These Terms of Service govern your use of the Harrington Grey website and the purchase of any services or products from Harrington Grey – Kitchen Design Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


1. About Us

Harrington Grey is a kitchen design studio providing professional design consultations, technical drawing services, and related products.

We do not operate as a general retailer. Much of what we provide is bespoke, time-based, and specification-led.


2. Services Provided

Our services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Initial phone consultations

  • Design discovery consultations

  • Technical design and drawing packages

  • Kitchen specification support

  • Supply of kitchen products via approved partners

Service descriptions, durations, and prices are displayed on our website at the time of booking.


3. Bookings & Payments

  • A deposit or full payment may be required to secure a booking.

  • All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • Payments must be made in full and in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By making a booking, you confirm that all details provided are accurate and complete.


4. Right to Cancel (Services)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period. However, by booking a service and selecting a consultation date, you expressly request that we begin the service within this period.

Once a consultation has taken place or design work has begun, your right to cancel is lost.

5. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Work

Any service or product that is bespoke, customised, or made to order:

  • Cannot be cancelled once work or production has commenced

  • Is non-refundable once specifications are approved

You are responsible for ensuring all measurements, requirements, and approvals are correct before sign-off.


6. Design Scope & Responsibility

Our designs are based on:

  • Information provided by you

  • Measurements supplied by you or your appointed contractors (unless otherwise agreed)

  • Current building regulations and best practice at the time of design

We are not responsible for:

  • On-site discrepancies where measurements were not taken by us

  • Installation errors carried out by third parties

  • Structural or services issues not disclosed at the time of design


7. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, concepts, visuals, and documentation produced by Harrington Grey remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You may not:

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Sell

  • Provide designs to third parties for commercial use

without our prior written consent.


8. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data

  • Copy, scrape, or misuse content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse is identified.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the services purchased

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence


10. Third-Party Suppliers & Installers

Where we introduce or coordinate with third-party suppliers or installers:

  • Contracts for supply or installation are between you and the third party

  • We are not responsible for their performance, timelines, or workmanship unless explicitly stated


11. Delays & Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, material shortages, acts of God, or government restrictions.


12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your purchase will apply.


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
